Sharing the Planet Unit – KG
Within the ‘Sharing the Planet’ unit, KG delved deeper today into understanding the elements of nature through a crushed ice experiment. The children learned how the state of water changes and how temperature affects our environment. The goal is to build a strong, direct connection between the child and our planet’s natural resources through purposeful play. They utilized research and communication skills as they described the sensation of cold and observed the ice melting in their hands. We are proud of how they are connecting what they learn to the real world!
