Shams project is an Art, Design and Science project for middle school students in grades 6 to 9, in which students create their own projects using 2 levels of solar kits and recycled materials.
On the 12th of March, and after working for two full days on their projects, QAK students celebrated the completion of their Shams products. The students worked in a collaborative setting across all MYP grades in assigned groups producing creative projects generated by solar energy. Teachers from all subjects supervised and motivated students during the process. The outcome was outstanding and selected projects were chosen to be held in the collective exhibition at Qatar Museums’ Fire Station Artist in Residence.
Congratulations to all of our students on their success and creativity!
