The library at QAK is the media center that is supervised by librarians who teach students in Arabic and English. The Academy’s libraries are fully equipped, automated and are growing. There are now about 34,000 Arabic and English books suitable for all ages and subjects. The library has its own computer system in order to control the check-in and checkout books. There are two librarians in the Elementary and two librarians in the Middle School who receive students during their Arabic and English reading periods and read for them and instruct them in Information Literacy Skills including research skills. The librarians plan monthly reading promotions. They also try to coordinate with the class teachers and provide them with materials to enhance and support their teaching.
