“Mrs. Munira Khalifa AlRahbi is the Education Manager of the Education Department, which is a constituent part of Human Capital Group at Qatar Gas Operating Limited Company. Education Department Provides strategic leadership, direction, planning and is responsible for the overall schooling of the children of QatarGas employees offered by Al Khor International CBSE curriculum school & Al Khor International British curriculum school located in Al Khor Community. Over the years, both schools have achieved excellent exam results, high parental satisfaction, sustainable governance, and solid financial performance.

Mrs. Munira has educational experience with a strong record of accomplishment and multifaceted portfolio, which has spanned extensive experience in managing large-scale institutes with over 16 years in effective leadership for government & international education institutes.
Prior to her role as Education Manger, she was the Operator & Principal of Al Khor Primary Independent School for Girls for several years.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Management from the College of Business & Economics from Qatar University. In addition, she completed the Executive MBA at HEC Paris in 2015 followed by completing the Executive leadership program at Qatar Leadership Center in 2017.”

Ms. Moza Khalid Al Kubaisi

Board Member

Moza Alkubaisi started her career as an English teacher for a primary school in Qatar in 2003. She has about 17 years of experience in teaching, coaching and in administration at schools in Qatar. In 2014, Moza joined Qatar Foundation as an Information Service Librarian at Qatar National Library (QNL) for some time to develop resources for Children Library and worked among a team to support the implementation of QNL strategic plan before the official opening of the library. Moza has a passion for teaching, thus she went back to a teaching career. She continued her work as an English Coordinator in a primary school until 2019.  Moza developed her career by joining the Early Years Department in MOEHE as an English Language Specialist. Her duties were to participate in developing educational policies for the early years department and develop the English Language curriculum and guidelines for KG & KG2. She worked with a team to monitor, coach, and provide professional development for all English teachers in kindergartens and early years (Grade 1 & 2) in schools in Qatar during the academic year (2019-2020). Her main responsibilities were to guide teachers to implement the English core curriculum guidelines and support them in their teaching and learning strategies.

Moza graduated from Qatar University with a BA in English Language and MA in Leadership and Digital Education from the University of Leeds in the UK. She is also interested in research especially in the field of educational leadership, digital technology, and technology-based learning.

Moza is planning to support QAK mission by providing insights from an educational perspective on one hand and as a parent on the other. She believes that collaboration between major stakeholders is essential to support the educational process and highlight the educational priorities.

Mr. Ahmed Ibrahim Al Mohannadi

Ahmed Al-Muhannadi started his career after obtaining a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, as the first engineer to graduate from Qatar University in 1985, Eng. as an officer in the Qatari Amiri Air Force. After graduating he travelled to France to study the simulators of the f1 aircraft. He obtained the first place in this specialization

After five years contract in the army, he was transferred to the Ministry of Information as a Head of transmitter stations then assistant director of engineering after that director of engineering in Radio and tv and he was observed 370 members from administrators, engineers and technicians, he has developed technical specifications for equipment purchased from many countries such as America, England, Switzerland and others. He draws up the special budget for the engineering departments of the radio and television departments He has been in various meetings and exhibitions in several countries represented by the State of Qatar and has become a well-known writer, journalist and has weekly articles since 1988 until now

He is a media and pedagogical consultant and a certified Research judge at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education. He is involved in curriculum development. He holds a senior leadership certificate for schools. He was assigned as the director of the Technical Industrial School during the period of the Supreme Education Council, where the school had its financial and administrative independence. He became the head of the boards of trustees in more than one school. He is currently a member of the Board of Trustees of Al-tamakon Private School, which is interested in teaching students with learning difficulties and people with disabilities. He holds a course in curriculum preparation and a course in teaching methods. He is a member of the Gulf Association for People with Disabilities, a member of the American Association of Senior Electrical Engineers, a member of the Media Committee of Doha Asian games in 2006, and a member of the Media Committee of the Gulf Cup 17 and gives various courses in Media and Human Development participated in the discussion of the graduation projects of the students of the Faculty of Engineering at Qatar University. He is a certified trainer at the Ministry of Development, Labor and Social Affairs for the Media Skills Program. He was the general supervisor of the media work of the second Qatar Career Fair.

Mr. Rashid Abdulla Al Mohannadi

Mr. Rashid Abdullah Al-Mahri Al-Mohannadi began his professional career in 2000 after graduating from the university and obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

He had an administrative position in one of the schools affiliated with the Ministry of Education as an accountant responsible for the school’s income and expenses. He moved between several different schools in 2005 before he was assigned to a position at Qatar Information Institute where he worked as an anchor in the broadcasting section and then as a Head of the sport news. The beginning was with the Masters of Doha 2006, which constituted a qualitative shift in Qatar’s hosting of the continental championships, and in 2010 he was among the media delegation heading to Zurich, which witnessed Qatar’s victory in organizing the 2022 World Cup. It is worth mentioning that Rashid Al-Mohannadi is a former football player in Al Khor Club and captain of the Qatar national team for Juniors in 1995 when he participated in the World Cup in Ecuador. The year 2015 was a milestone in Rashid Al-Mohannadi’ s career, when he presented his first episodes on television, specifically the sports program, which was a great turning point that earned him extensive experience in this field and gave him the opportunity to serve the country, meet different key persons, and host them locally and abroad.

Rashid Al-Mohannadi is a Qatari journalist who has left a good impact in his media career through his participation in the Gulf Games held in several countries and also in the Olympic Games in London 2012 and Rio de Janeiro 2016. He is still a broadcaster presenting his programs on Qatar TV.

Qatar Academy is a dream come true for the children of this generation and a unique educational platform that must be benefited from. It has good experiences to advance education and its outputs. Therefore, all my seven children are students of this edifice because I am convinced of that. Thank you.

Sh. Noof Ahmed Al-Thani

Sh. Noof Ahmed Al-Thani is the Executive Director of Strategic Initiatives and Partnerships at the Pre-University Education office at Qatar Foundation. She joined Qatar Foundation in 2007 where she co-founded 4 QF schools; Qatar Academy Al-Khor, Qatar Academy Al-Wakra, Qatar Academy Sidra, Qatar Academy Msheireb and expansion of The Learning Center to AWSAJ Academy. She is also the co-founder of PUE Office and founder of the Education Development Institute (EDI) at Qatar Foundation. She works with leading global and local partners to bring and to share our high-impact innovation in education to Qatar and the region. She started her career as a teacher and teacher trainer in 1994 and is the recipient of multiple regional and local educational excellence awards. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Education from Qatar University and Executive master’s in business administration from HEC Paris. 

Mr. Daniel Harrison

Danny’s professional experience extends across a diverse range of cultures and education systems including United Kingdom, New Zealand, Jordan, Oman, and Qatar. He has over 30 years of experience in the education sector including direct teaching, curriculum development, school administration, campus start-ups and most recently commercial development and expansion of academic campuses in the Middle East with responsibilities across multiple business units. He joined Qatar Foundation as Director of School Development and was recently appointed as Executive Director (Operations) of QF Schools.
